Bill 3 is an outrageous step backwards for both our environment and our economy. Business owners should be particularly concerned, as cancelling cap and trade will inevitably lead to more arbitrary government regulations down the road. The fact that the government performed the cancellation in July without public consultation (and is now doing this only after the fact) is especially worrying, and is inconsistent with the values of a modern democracy. Uncertainty and inconsistency are not what Ontario businesses need from their government to grow and thrive.
