I am in full disagreement…

I am in full disagreement with this proposed change to the Greenbelt in order to satisfy housing concerns.

Why is there not greater emphasis to grow housing (proportionately) in other cities outside the GTA/Greentbelt area? There is so much more opportunity to grow the province and the various cities/municipalities without being able to affect it.

For example, there is so much opportunity to accelerate the build out of Windsor/Ottawa or other cities/towns in Northern Ontario -- this would facilitate infrastructure growth, ensuring that services become more pervasive and widespread rather than being focused in a smaller area.

I believe that we should be investing in these other areas of the province, and encourage migration to them. These other areas have lower cost of living, but also are (in some cases) short on certain services/infrastructure -- and these housing build out can be the catalyst to address it, and ultimately the current housing prices in the GTA.
