Or what? Are you going to make urbanest, dense, walking and cycling friendly suburbs that are connected to Toronto via good quality rail all the way out here?
No, you're not. You're going to make more car-centric suburbs. They aren't financially solvent, they aren't taxed enough for the resources they draw, the housing options there aren't what people who need houses can afford or use, and you're going to do it anyway.
Aren't you supposed to be the economically practical party? Do the math. Read a book. Urbanize the car-based suburbs you have. Then you'll get the tax income you need to pay for the province. And you'll actually create some mid-level housing for the middle class at the same time! It's almost like it's the right thing for a leader to do. Who knew your job would be so easy.
