I'm shocked and very disappointed that Mr. Ford is one again considering opening up the greenbelt to development. There is no need to develop or build on this land. We need to build more densely on existing land that is serviced by usable (ie, regular) transit, not create more sprawl that is only accessible by car.
What will exist for future generations if we continue to snip away at the greenbelt boundaries? This land needs to be protected for all. And Mr. Ford needs to remember his promises. He didn't raise this issue as part of his platform in the recent election with good reason. Leave the greenbelt alone!!!
