Our province must protect the environment for future generations to come. I want my children and my children’s children to be able to enjoy a safe, healthy and beautiful Ontario as I have been able to. This province MUST ensure:
• A real climate change plan to reduce emissions, to help people save money by saving energy and to create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy.
• Adoption of a price on carbon pollution through a fee-and-dividend plan, which would charge polluters and return the money to the pockets of Ontarians.
• Legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
• The redirection of fossil fuel subsidies into clean energy solutions.
