As a life long resident of this province and now a home owner in Durham region where a large amount of this large is proposed to be changed from green space to more over crowded sprawl I am disgusted and horrified. Why can we not build where the parking lots are, the industrial emptied out strip malls are, where there aren’t birds and aquifers, wetlands and biodiversity. You’re stealing the future from my children, we can’t replace these spaces and we can’t continue to live like nature is replaceable. Mr ford you have lied by saying the people have spoken and you wouldn’t touch the greenbelt, this is our provinces richest asset, why do you insist on your legacy being one of lies, corruption, and an assault on the earth, animals, nurses, and teachers? Voter apathy is what got you elected, make no mistake this isn’t what anyone in Ontario wants for their future.
