DO NOT PROCEED IN DEVELOPING THE GREENBELT!

The Greenbelt is protected lands for a reason. I shouldn't have to remind you of it's importance as it is clearly stated on plenty of websites. We need to maintain our farmlands, we need to protect at risk species and we need to maintain as much clean air as we can preserve, especially when we see overly developed areas like Toronto, covered in a thick brown cloud of smog.

Why is this amendment even on the table? Don't we have bigger concerns in the GTA to deal with? Developing the Greenbelt will not create livable wages for the general public, nor will it create affordable housing or put more nurses or beds in the hospitals. Ford's priorities are all out of wack. We keep telling him what we want and need he does the exact opposite. It's infuriating. Help us put this idea to rest so we can get back to what really matters - our community.
