Me and my neighbours are…

Me and my neighbours are opposed to this amendment. As our kids are growing and starting to enjoy going out in nature, our family depends on green space around the city and specifically the town we live in. This amendment will mean less of the green belt preserved for future generations. This land is important to everyone and I think it should remain for all to enjoy. Housing can be developed in a multitude of other areas and I think that unless the ministry received proof that all other sites have been researched and deemed unsuitable with supporting information as to why, the ministry should not allow this amendment. This should be a last resort which I don’t think is the case.
