I strongly feel that we need to do our part to limit greenhouse gas emissions. It doesn't matter what form this takes, as long as we get results. I believe a carbon tax is a good idea because it will incentivize people and companies to reduce their emissions. The revenue collected can be used to create jobs in the green economy, or pay down our massive provincial debt, or it can be returned to taxpayers/corporations as cash. Any of these options would be better than doing nothing and following the lead of Donald Trump.
