This proposal is thoughtless…

This proposal is thoughtless and absurd. It goes against the very core of the Greenbelt Plan and why it was established in the first place. There is no significant evidence that these amendments will do anything to significantly help the housing issues being seen in Ontario. It’s shameful the way the Ontario government thinks they can overrule Acts and basic rights to suit their needs. This is the single worst thing this government has done next to the blatant and inappropriate use of the not withstanding clause.
