Ontario does not need more sprawl and we need to protect our greenbelt. Ontario needs to focus on intensifying our existing communities and improving transit, not create more single family homes over valuable green spaces and farm land. The Ontario Government is also going against the will of the citizens of Hamilton who specifically voted against this. According a CBC article, it indicates that developers already own the land which I'm convince the Premier's simply rewarding his corporate buddies. There is no way this should go forward and will only make Ontario citizens angrier at a very inept government.
