To hear that a government is actively trying to remove protections for the environment, including pricing carbon in this day and age is alarming. I find it abhorant that the Ontario PC government have such little care for the generations to come that they consider any price on pollution a mistake. Not only is it an environmental and human catastrophy but it will allow other countries to surpass us economically because green sustainable power, green infrastructure and other green initiatives invests right here in Ontario. We need to be at the cutting edge of these new industries to lead the world. We do not want investments to move elsewhere because of a regressive shortsighted policy and costly wasteful legal challenge. Let me remind you that our federal government was elected on a progressive policy mandate. Consider the children and future generations of this planet when making your economically centred decisions.
