Doug Ford, do you realize the cap and trade program was a Conservative idea?

Just because the Liberals implemented it, doesn't mean it's wrong. Your government MUST do something ASAP to help reduce the RATE of global warming or the methane in the permafrost will kill life as we know it. The RATE of global warming has NO PRECEDENT in Earth's natural history, and this rate is directly tied to humans and the rise of the industrial revolution.
This is serious. THINK ABOUT YOUR GRANDCHILDREN! (BTW, I don't even have any, but I care immensely about the fate of yours.)

Please:

. devise a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy.
. put a price on pollution. Polluters MUST PAY for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. (All makers of various pollutions ought to be taxed heavily, as it's public $$ that have to clean up their messes while they get away with all the gravy.)
. impose legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
. work for Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050
. end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.
