Anybody can see that the climate has changed globally and most scientists who study the problem agree that our human activity must take a lot of the blame. I would like to see Ontario, as well as the other provinces in Canada, enact legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. If the Conservative government doesn't think that cap and trade is the way, show 'the people' what your alternate plan is quickly.

There is no reason why Canada, especially Ontario, should be left behind when it comes to creating clean, renewable energy solutions. We have the brains, we just need the political will to transform ideas into action. We as a species will be extinguished as quickly as the dinasours if we continue to bury out head in the oil sands. There is no reason why today's jobs in the fossil fuel industry could not be turned into tomorrow's jobs in a green, clean economy.
