Climate change is real! We just had tornados in Ottawa, destroying many homes and an entire community! Forest fires are devastating many parts of our nation! Temperatures throughout the year have become erratic. You cannot wipe out the current mechanisms which control pollution without a concrete plan in place to control the pollution which contributes to climate change, as well as poor air quality! Maybe the cap and trade system isn’t ideal, but eliminating it without a definite replacement solution is unacceptable!
We need a government which monitors and regulates polluters, rather than one who jumps in bed with them! We need a government committed to replacing fossil fuels with clean renewable energy!
