My thoughts are that this proposal is comepletey short-sighted and takes no consideration of the damaging long-term environmental effects this would have on Ontario. There is little to no consideration given within this proposal to the municipalities who voiced their opposition to expanding urban boundaries for development. Explicit preference was stated for building on undeveloped land within existing urban boundaries and I fail to understand why this government did not honour or even explore that possibility.

The only benficiaires are the individuals who suspiciously purchased the specific lands this proposal suggests should be rezoned for development.
