The Ford promised the public it wouldn’t develop the green belt because they knew the public was against it. We can’t budge a single inch on this matter because once development starts it won’t stop. This short term profit mindset is why we’re facing such dire environmental issues, and it can’t be tolerated any longer. I as well as a majority of the people of Ontario vehemently oppose this idea and the lying Ford government knows it.
