Bill 23 takes away the wishes of the residents of Ontario and gives the developers all the powers to do what they want, all the while setting the future health of every resident in Ontario at risk. Countries around the world are begging for the wealthy countries to do better. Bill 23 is a step backwards in "doing better". Bill 23 is removing the democratic rights of every Ontarian to have a say in how their communities are defined and how their environment is treated. No level of Government should have the right to administer such negative, far reaching legislation in place at any time.

If the current government continues to implement Bill 23, it will be paid for by future generations of Ontario Residents. This is no shining example of what a government should be capable of doing.
