What is the point in building on land WHICH was PROMISED to be PROTECTED by the premier countless of times. Moreover there is so much land in cities that hasn't been used that could be actual "affordable houses". Houses aren't affordable if they are smack dab in the middle of no where (on land that needs to be protected), aren't near public transport, grocery stores, gas stations, people's work places, where people would need a car (they're also expensive!), etc: They are in fact more expensive. People need a place to be where they can reach the necessities and they won't get what they need from having houses away from the city. If Doug Ford actually wants to make a difference and implement his plan of "More Homes Built Faster" Do it in the heart of cities and towns where people can actually live AFFORDABLY.
