Where will it end? Why are we always having to fight to keep green space that is supposedly "protected". It is way too easy in this Country for developers to just decide to overturn a natural landscape, and far more difficult to rectify that after the damage has been done. This short sighted profit driven blindness is the thing that has positioned us to be in a massive species extinction event, and a climate crisis. I beg of you to reconsider this decision. Look at the big picture... we need our green space, you can't just build over top of it and "put it somewhere else".. it makes me realize how little developers understand natural ecosystems. There are other creatures who rely on these small spaces to live. We need to be turning buildings into green space right now, we are so far from our emissions targets, its just sad. Please stop with this 'business as usual' mentality. We need to come up with better and more sustainable solutions to housing, I believe we can do better!
