Climate change is real. It is hurting our economy, our health and our ecosystems. This legislature must reduce emissions, help people to save energy and create jobs in the very real $26 trillion clean economy.

Ontario must put a price on pollution, by making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint.

There must be a legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.

By 2050, if we last that long, Ontario must be 100% powered by clean energy.

Ontario must end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel and nuclear companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.

These steps will make this government a real leader for "the people" and will go a long ways to ensure that our children and grandchildren, including yours, will have a clean and healthy planet to call home. To do anything else is sheer insanity.
