This area of land needs to be protected - for ecological and agricultural importance. Ontario needs to sustain and grow our own food sources and this land is some of the most valuable in that respect. How are we going to feed the increased population of people? We would become more reliant on imported food. Homes can be developed in other areas or increase density of already developed areas.
Developing this land would be the biggest mistake and one that cannot be reversed.
Think of the future.
