Do NOT develop this precious land. The proposed highway will save absolutely no time which has been shown in several surveys, and will irreparably destroy habitat that was supposed to be protected. It is absolutely heartbreaking that the Ford government is insisting on this plan even though they campaigned on the promise of leaving the Greenbelt land alone. If this government could stick to just one promise, let it be this one. It has multi-generational impacts that simply aren’t worth the amount of destruction that will ensue. In 2022, how are we not all about leading our country in protecting lands that must be protected? Keep one promise. Leave this land alone and protected.
