I am not seeing that aquifers being compromised are being adequately protected.

I don't see any study of the migratory paths of animals that range over the territories under consideration.

I am not satisfied, esp given cut backs to conservation area powers, that floodplain analysis is or could be adequate to evaluate the flooding implications of the proposed housing

I am not hearing anything about low cost or affordable housing- which is the great need in Ontario. And I can't imagine a credible 'trickle up' as the ultra rich move into the prime locations you are opening up- even if that 'frees up' some high end existing housing in urban areas.

I awaiting indigenous people's comments and approval- without which this proposal recklessly endangers treaty consideration

I am persuaded that there is ample OTHER land- perhaps not in the pristine, exclusive areas proposed, but in adequate locations eg Durham etc. that are closer to transportation and other life essentials of "ordinary' people.

The Bruce Trail and other areas of the Greenbelt are Unesco world heritage places... Priceless beyond the value of 50,000 mansions. ( a drop in the bucket of our housing needs)

I would hope this project will be dis-qualified by federal environmental investigations and regulations.

The cost to municipalities replacing development fees puts unfair burden on people paying house taxes... And beyond sewers and water, who is supposed to build schools, hospitals etc that make these new communities work?

Passing the act in the house BEFORE doing limited and token hearings (poorly advertised hearings- clearly not facilitating public input), is an insult to the process...clear majority govt bully process with only necessary, token consultation negated by the majority threat. Not open and honest dialogue.

The whole idea negates the premier's PROMISE to not touch the Greenbelt.. If you don't run on a proposal this big, you don't hatch and force it without a tested mandate- not if one hopes to be premier after the next election. This is not a 'suddenly emerging' situation that might justify that kind of un-mandated emergency action (like COVID was)

Put the whole thing on pause and re-introduce it in the new year- with robust public input from ppl, municipalities and first nations voices among the founding and supportive voices key to the inception of the idea. Stake holders vote... Work for not despite us

thanks
