Polluting our environment…

Polluting our environment should not be free. Environmental policies have improved our lives (remember acid rain?). The cap and trade program charged (taxed) polluters and reinvested into positive and innovative initiatives.

My big issue with cancelling cap in trade is that it was done without having a better plan in place. It makes it look like MY GOVERNMENT doesn’t care about our province. How can you not care about the impacts of climate change and pollution? Do better. Please.

Polluters should pay. Gasoline should be taxed. Innovative clean energy projects should be funded. I believe that their is a future where our power is clean and inexpensive. We should be subsidizing science and innovation.
