We need to focus on an economy that prioritizes protecting farmland and forests. We are locking ourselves into concrete jungles with very little greenspace to enjoy on a daily basis... We require cars to travel to the forest.
The region in Waterloo plan focuses on this and i hope Ontario builds more policies into sustainable economy where new buildings are not the base but rather environmental protection and restoration.
