I strongly approve the Region of Waterloo's Official Plan, Amendment 6 for several reasons.

Residents of the Region have the opportunity to eat local food , thereby saving money on food and not having to drive a greater distance to buy. This practice is good for our environment: less pollution, better, natural flavour in our food and a sense of being part of a neighbourhood where I live and can easily buy the food that comes from or near that neighbourhood.
