Minister Clark,

Please approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.

The Official plan for the Region of Waterloo has strong local support from both politicians and citizens.

This area has an unique mix of urban and rural areas where we support our farmers and benefit from local products where we often know the farmer, and are able to enjoy local healthy produce that has not been shipped from long distances, supporting I personal commitment to reduce carbon emissions.

At the same time we have ample space available for housing within the populated areas. Increasing our density and reduce the need for cars and again contribute to the fight against climate change.

Please listen to the people and approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.
