Given the recent UN Article that has come out on climate change, suggesting that global temperatures are rising much quicker than anticipated and that it would take a much smaller rise in temperature to cause significant impacts on smaller island countries. One of the proposed solutions to this is to increase carbons taxes to help reduce overall carbon emissions. By eliminating the carbon pricing plan and we as Ontarians would effectively contribute to carbon emissions at a much greater rate.
