The idea behind the limits…

The idea behind the limits imposed in 1997 was to gradually phase out this inhumane practice without outright banning it. No part of practice where dog chases captive scared animal should be labeled as "sport" and there should be no training and competition that enforces such behaviour.

The training and trialing for "sporting dogs" should be left to fade into history, just like fox hunting, bear trapping, beaver skinning. Any human activity that inflicts terror into animals for "sport" reasons just glorifies cruelty and promotes animal violence.

Do NOT extend licences, do not support the expansion of "trialing" programs.
