Especially considering the UN’s recent report on the status of climate change, it is clearly pivotal to reduce greenhouse gases where it matters most- on the corporate level. Cap and Trade is the best system that we have in place to do just that. To scrap a system that is working effectively is an apathetic move on the part of the PCs, a betrayal of the Paris Agreement, and evidence that the PC party does not care about the lives of future voters.

If the Conservative party has any interest in promoting a cleaner future for Canadians, it will leave that Cap and Trade system in place.
