It seems very short-sighted…

It seems very short-sighted to be cancelling the Cap & Trade Program in Ontario. The funds from this program were helping so many different areas that will either now have to go without or the government will need to foot that bill from somewhere else. It is also so important that we take big, bold steps toward reducing our climate impact. I have children and I would like them to be able to grow up in a world that is not devastated by drought, famine, flooding, severe storms and worse, all caused by climate change that we have the power to influence. Cancelling this program influenced it to become worse.
