I agree with the comments made by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario on the province’s proposed Provincial Planning Statement, 2023 (PPS 2023), which would replace the existing Provincial Policy Statement, 2020 (PPS 2020) and the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. I ask that you consider these comments and implement the changes suggested.
I believe that the protections provided for Ontario’s buildings, structures, districts and landscapes of cultural heritage significance must not be weakened any further.
