We in Ontario and Canada…

We in Ontario and Canada must meet our international obligations for now and the future to reduce the impact of climate change. To this end, we must reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy.
I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint.
If the Ontario government decides not to proceed with a carbon tax, it is insufficient to simply cancel it. The government must then introduce other measures which are just as effective or more effective than carbon pricing. Do not just cancel, please take action!
We must contribute to our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. We must!
