We live in the residential area adjacent to the Ssonix property where the fire in Jan 2023 caused evacuation and considerable trauma. We were fortunate that there were not more serious consequences. The company is facing 84 fire prevention and protection charges. Why should we believe they will operate in compliance in future? The company should not be allowed to store hazardous waste either temporarily or permanently in such close proximity to a growing residential area. My family strongly opposes this proposal.
