This facility has been in violation really recently, and as a resident of Terrace Bay, I would be astonished if the status quo was allowed to continue,
This plant consistently exceeds discharge limits, and receives many complaints regarding this.
Monitoring stations are poorly placed in regard to the prevailing winds, and the general public is constantly exposed to poor air quality.
I understand that the process of Kraft mills may produce low air quality during process upsets...... but these are a daily occurrence in Terrace Bay, and I feel our ministry should enforce the law in this matter.
