I live in the neighbouring…

I live in the neighbouring community and feel due to the negligence on the part of the company to adequately protect the area around where their highly flammable and dangerous facility operated they should in no way be allowed to establish their business on the same site or anywhere near the Port Weller East area again.

While I understand the importance of having such a facility this is not the proper location for numerous reasons. If another catastrophic explosion were to take place again it would block off our only potential exit which passes by this location (dangerous!). What if this happens when the bridge is up at Lock One, the delay of first responders to the scene could take another innocent life.

As well, the legal ramifications of their mismanagement and neglect needs to go through the court system before this company and the characters who run it should even be considered capable of operating anywhere else.

Again, build this type of facility elsewhere - not here, and let some other folks run it, not the current ones.
