We can no longer afford a return to the old head-in-the-sands, business-as-usual approach to energy consumption and climate change. We have to actually pay for our carbon sins and actually invest in energy that will safeguard this planet and all who sail in her. Time's up for pollution, and we need government policy that will meet the issue of climate change proactively.
