I’m 100% against the proposal from York 1 Environmental Waste Solutions Ltd. I’ve lived in the beautiful town of Dresden for over 30 years. I’ve travelled the roads into and out of the town daily and they are not equipped to carry hundreds of additional transports daily. This will beat up our roads even more. Also the noise of transports bouncing thru our downtown is actually scary. I’m concerned about of 2 schools which have children walking across town daily. Not to mention our treasured Sydenham river. There is a creek that runs from the property in question to our river. You can’t tell me this is good for the environment. Look up the benefits our Sydenham river has for the environment. Should this be risked? These are just couple concerns I personally have. Would you want this site 1 km from your home or home town?
