As a longtime resident of Dresden, Ontario it is truly heartbreaking to see our small little town become subject to a major landfill facility in our back yard (literally). The detrimental impact that this will have on our landscape, rivers, wildlife and environment is unimaginable. Not to mention the amount of garbage that will travel through our town to get here. It will ruin all of the hard work that our community has done to make Dresden a wonderful place to live. But hey, it’s just business right? This has been in the works for a while of course, but little did our community know about it until a few weeks ago because we’ve been kept in the dark. Shame on York1 for taking advantage. You will reap what you sow.
