It is very inappropriate to use a landfill that is only 1 km away from a small town. There is 2 schools with children in the town of Dresden and their health is important. The idea that the original licenses on this property still being valid after 40 years is absurd. Things have changed environmentally and it has been stated that since these licenses exist there doesn't need to be an environmental assessment. York 1 wishes to expand this site..encroaching on waterways in close proximity to this site and species that live around this site. Not to mention people that are living directly next to this site. I feel the health and wellbeing of the people of the town of Dresden is being disregarded by this company.
