I'd like to express my disappointment with the government's reckless disregard for the environment at a time when there is global consensus in the scientific community that the risk posed by human-caused climate change will soon be catastrophic and that governments need to take concrete steps to radically reduce emissions. Cancelling the cap and trade system at this critical juncture is reckless and short-sighted. I look forward to the repeal of this misguided legislation when the progressive voters of this province votes this government out of power in the next election.
