I am outraged at the amount…

I am outraged at the amount of greed and selfishness I see in this world, particularly by politicians. I feel exhausted even just writing this comment... the fact that there are people who value money over the health and longevity of our planet is sickening. We have no other option. There is only one Earth. Our planet is needed for the survival of humanity and I cannot believe that I actually have to say this to people. The recent climate report that was put out by the IPCC is frightening and enough cause on its own to take action and put in place protections for our environment rather that stripping them; however let us stop pretending and ignoring the evidence sited by hundreds of scientists around the globe. Climate change is real. And it is time we put each other, our children and grandchildren, our planet above personal greed and short term gratification. We have one life; one planet; it is time to do the right thing, lest we all suffer the consequences.
