I oppose the development of two 32 storey and two 35 storey at Hwy 400 and Langstaff. This is being proposed with the Minister's Zonng Order: without any studies, public input or chance of appeals. This is not acceptable and I have never seen or heard of anything this large done to a community without due process. What is the urgency? What is the impact? This is a disgraceful example of not following due process.
The citizens of this area have received ZERO information regarding this plan. Everyday, there is the challange of intense traffic in the area and the infrastructure cannot sustain the increase in population.
There are already significant safety issues and traffic problems that has resulted due to the amount of development in this community. The combined effect of completed projects and approved projects already have a negative impact upon residents of the community. There is already additional development scheduled in the quadrant of Weston Road to highway 7, and the condominiums and apartments at Jane and highway 7 continue to be built.. There is more congestion and theft and crime.
No more......!!!!!
Put an immediate stop to this additional development.
