The Ministry of Mines is posting this bulletin to the Environmental Registry to keep the public informed of changes to mining projects in Ontario. The proposed changes to the project are as follows:
- changing the new Tailings Storage Facilities effluent discharge location from the current location on East Creek to the Redstone River.
Construction of a new TSF to the east of the existing TSF. The TSF will have a footprint of 50 ha at the 305 masl elevation, increasing again to 56 ha at the 308 masl elevation, increasing again to 64 ha at the 312 masl elevation and the final footprint of the design is at 96 ha where the existing TSF and new TSF become one upon the final designed elevation of 316 masl.
