Application has been made by Dufferin Aggregates to amend the current site plan for ARA licence #5601 to increase the maximum annual tonnage limit from 977,700 tonnes to 2,000,000 tonnes. Other local Dufferin Aggregates licensed sites are being depleted, requiring the applicant to increase operations at the Paris Pit to satisfy existing requirements for customers.
Public consultation opportunities
The proposed request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the County of Brant, MNRF Aggregates Section, and any landowners within 120 metres of the licensed boundary for comment.
