David Larry Hofstedter - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for 1675 Kilworthy Road, Town of Gravenhurst, Ontario; for the establishment of a subsurface disposal works for the collection, transmission, treatment, and disposal of domestic sewage with a maximum design capacity of 32,000 litres per day, to service a proposed two new seasonal cottages and a bunkie.

The proposed sewage treatment system will consist of an equalization tank (flow balancing), a septic tank (for primary treatment), a floc reactor, a second septic tank (enhanced primary treatment), complete with an effluent filter and an effluent pump tank, followed by a pressurized tertiary treatment system (Eljen GSF).

The system will be designed to produce Level IV quality effluent complete with phosphorus reduction.
