This proposal to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air and noise) No. 8909-7BQQS9 for Eureka Wearmax Grinding Industries Inc., a tool and die welding product manufacturing facility, specializing in surface grinding, blanchard grinding, and shear blade reconditioning, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

This application is for the approval of three welding stations, three Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, and the removal of the wire room furnace. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • particulate matter
  • nickel
  • nitrogen oxides
  • chromium, and
  • cobalt
