On February 2, 2022, the City of Toronto adopted Official Plan Amendment 524 pursuant to section 17 of the Planning Act by By-law 47-2022. Official Plan Amendment 524 is now before the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing for a decision under the Planning Act.
Official Plan Amendment 524 seeks to establish sixteen Protected Major Transit Station Areas in accordance with Section 16(16) of the Planning Act and in conformity with A Place to Grow: The Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The materials attached or links in this notice provides the details regarding the proposed Protected Major Transit Station Areas.
