Signs of climate change have been increasing steadily -- increasingly stronger rainstorms, blizzards, tornados and hurricanes with resultant property damage and deaths, exceptional flooding incidents, notably in places like Toronto and Calgary with large ensuing damage costs, increased forest fires Lire davantage

Do you have children or grandchildren? What kind of world do you want to pass on to them? All residents of Ontario need to do their part to reduce greenhouse gas emissions NOW. 30+ years ago the science was clear that human actions were having a very negative impact on the earth's climate. I don’t think any Act with respect Protecting our Evirinment and Climate Change should be repealed unless and until there is an adequate and responsible climate Act to IMMEDIATELT replace it. Lire davantage

We need to have a long-term plan to mitigate climate change. Cancelling the Cap and Trade legislation moves us further from a plan. Thus I am absolutely against the bill to cancel cap and trade.

We can't prepare for the future by moving backwards. We have to start paying the true whole cost for our energy choices. Only then will we realize the all the benefits of a green economy, including both the environmental and economic ones.

Climate change is real. As an Ontarian, what our province does to mitigate the effects of climate change is incredibly important to me, and to my community. Please, please, please listen to the scientists and to the knowledge of experts. Lire davantage

This bill is ridiculous. Why are you destroying what people have worked to create and what will ensure a decent future for our children? The only purpose of you bill is to dismantle. Lire davantage

Please note that I am STRONGLY OPPOSED to the passing of Bill 4. I FULLY SUPPORT employing the Cap and Trade strategy to contain carbon emissions and believe the funds recouped through the Cap and Trade measures should be used to support Green Energy innovations and initiatives. Lire davantage

If you want a bill you should really be focusing on how about bill 89. Bill 4 should be left alone, there is nothing wrong with trying to reduce carbon gases and save energy, but there is something wrong with ripping a child from their parents just because they are Christians!

I have been an Ontario resident for over 50 years. I am dissapointed to see yet another shortsighted approach to dealing with environmental problems that are now clearly manifesting in climate change events. Lire davantage
